We save history every day – and sometimes, we even make history in the process. To bring the Great Steel Fleet back to life, we’re raising over 2 million dollars over the next several years. Here’s how you can help.

Your contribution will help another child take their first train ride, welcome a vacationing family aboard for a life long memory, or recreate the sights and sounds of a bygone era that is forgotten no longer.

Since 2022, we’ve invested over $350,000 to restore the Great Steel Fleet. The opportunity to preserve and operate these classic streamliner cars – including ones from the storied trains of the New York Central and Canadian Pacific – means we’ll be able to preserve, showcase, and celebrate the golden age of railroading and inspire a new generation along the way.

With the Great Steel Fleet, our steam and diesel powered excursions will bring more joy, education, and recreation to thousands each year, while also increasing our capacity and enhancing our preservation programs.
